I saw your post about not using Murphy anymore, it is strange, I never used them except to get a gallon for my lawnmower and I only have a gallon can , I do know another station here where I live that is an independent station sure has something going on strange at it's pumps, I filled up there one time and the gas went right through like it was water, I really have no idea what they are doing, my gas gauge and the pump indicated I had the right amount of gallons, any idea what they may be doing, I have heard other people complain about the same thing if they get gas at that station. Hope you had a Blessed and Happy Easter. Gloria

"LM: You're so right about that!" Dankon/Spaseeba/Toda/Asante/Thank you on that regarding the XP still being used in utilities.

"Another round of BOHICA. The Neverending story...." and "the annual spring hike?" Pretty much well, eh? The third round of price hikes is starting here, a day earlier than I figured it would. I'm thinking and wondering if there's gonna be a fourth, and I'm almost certain there will be, even if only slightly. Hope your St. Patricks Day is better than mine and that your week ahead is great.

We'll be back up in one to three days on the price of natural gas as well. It won't stay down there at $4.45 to $4.50 for long. I won't be surprised the see the wholesale price of gas go from $2.96 where it's at now to $3.02 or more and I won't be surprised to see the price of natural gas go back to $4.68 to $4.77 or higher.

I told everyone last week Monday and even earlier that it and gas and oil were going up more, and especially at the pump, and it's all up again. It was up to $4.71 and higher just a few days ago, was $4.63 earlier today as well. Now it's at $4.50, but it'll be up again. Same with gasoline. I said on about the 25th or so of February we were going down a bit, then last Monday [I was going to do it Saturday and Sunday the 1st and 2nd but I couldn't get on, didn't have the time] I said the downward trend was over, that we were going to go back up, and we almost all have. We're up by 32 cents a gallon at quite a few stations now since last Sunday. The 2nd round of increases started yesterday as I had expected, still ongoing today. The 3rd is coming up, here and most everywhere.

Honda! Right now I feel as though I'm in a combined western and Trek all at the same time. I'm trying to get to everyone and do everything I need to do. Been wanting to reply to you since your post to the Topic of Natural gas should stay cheap for a long time. "LM: and it will only stay "just a bit lower" than the other fuels the moment more people get on the NG wave." and "I won't hold my breath. It'll go up sooner than later." That's about right on the money. I had said in other posts that it was already up off the lows of 2012. Peope forget it was at $2.86 and even lower at one point. I said back then that it would be up, past $3 again, past $4 and even past $5 again. It'll be $6 and $8 again soon enough, even higher again at points. It will be slightly cheaper than gasoline and cheaper than diesel though.

I have the habit of making certain that the price of gasoline and the total charge corresponds to the number of gallons pumped. In their case now, $31.99 should indicate 10 gallons of fuel pumped. But it never occurred to me that I should make sure that I verify that the amount that was actually PUMPED corresponds to what they have indicated. That would be upsetting. Thanks for the "Heads up".

Re: "Check receipt - or pay more than your tank holds!" Hey honda0105, Did you post that warning on the Murphy Express site? I occasionally purchase fuel there and want to know if you posted this from personal experience. Thanks. SA
