A BIG CONGRATS on 1,300 consecutive days! Really awesome! Wow, another 100 days have passed again, already! : ) For some it seems pretty easy to come back each day! But for most GBs they don't seem to have the dedication or the persistence it takes to come back and post gas prices each day for other GBs! Or they just run out of gas! :( Hang onto your speed lines, it only takes one day to lose them! I'm sure you know! But even clicking on news articles links, which are the easiest points here on GasBuddy, when you can't or didn't post gas prices before midnight will save your consecutive days! : ) WARNING! Every day GBs lose their consecutive days for many reasons, many with big numbers, the #1 reason, "oops, I just forgot!" :( If you ever lose your consecutive days; that is NO FAULT of your own, please contact the mods! Hey, you joined GB 2 days before I did. We should be buddies.

I was an RM1 and they did away with my rate quite a few years ago! It looks like I was 6 years ahead of you over in Vietnam, I was there March to August 1966 on the USS Bellatrix AF-62. The Bellatrix was out of Alameda, CA. In Oct of 1966 I was transferred to the Washington, DC area, where I got married in 1967, and stayed on the East Coast the rest of my career. I retired in January of 1986. Wow, where has the last 25 years gone? : ) I don't think I've got another 25 years in me! :(
