There is a new free smartphone application for this problem. Its called "Where is My Car - Lite". It uses the GPS built into the smartphone to create a way point that you set as you walk away from your car.

I take a picture of where I parked on my cell phone then I look at it to find it. Wal Mart shopping for about 4 hours - than until I did this 2 hours past.
All I can say is 2 hours walking in a Wal Mart parking lot was exercise - but I choose not to repeat it.

Losing your car or your car keys is not the problem. The problem is when you do find your car or your car keys, you do not know what they are for.

Then you better get one of those fobs that let you record a few seconds worth of notes and record it before entering the store. Especially if it's one of the malls.
